Digital Story of Literacy Instruction in Kindergarten

Hi everyone! I recently put together a quick digital story movie for my Mercer University graduate school reading class on how I teach literacy skills in my kindergarten classroom. Since I filmed in the summer, I couldn't use my classroom for the videos, but it is still a rather accurate representation of my favorite methods and strategies for literacy instruction.

If you are interested in making videos like this, I highly recommend Windows Movie Maker. It is a free program and is super easy to use!

Please enjoy and then
leave a comment with your favorite literacy activity or feedback on my ideas!

Universal Design for Learning

As a requirement for a curriculum class I am currently taking for my Masters Program, I had to make a presentation about a curriculum model. I picked Universal Design for Learning, because it has been a topic of much discussion recently! I wanted to learn more about it and how it can be used in my classroom. I hope you find this Prezi informative:
P.S. Blogging experts out there...how can I make this fit my page better??
